• Multiple-choice questions-though these are rarely used.

[Internal assessment]

Teacher assessment is also used for most courses.

They include:

• Oral work in languages
• Fieldwork in geography
• Laboratory work in the sciences
• Investigations in mathematics
• Artistic performances
