When i first came to Ivyline, I never expected myself to raise over 500 for my SAT.  Although the test that I took were practice tests, this really motivated and encouraged me to raise my scores from rock bottom. Before I came to Ivyline, I went to a hakwon that would help me raise my ACT scores. The education system didn`t work for me that well. It didn`t really make me memorize words, solve practice test problems, or anykind. Obviously, the hakwon didnt help me that great. When my dad told me that I`m going to Ivyline, I didn`t put that much expectation. Plus, I worked on ACT so much that I didnt want to even start SAT because its difficulty level was higher than ACT. I took my first practice test. As I predicted, it wasn`t as high that I wanted. However, I thought that it could be a worth of trying. I heard many people say that they raised their grade just simply going along with the curriculum. People`s admiration for Ivyline motivated me to do better and see the results. As I worked my way in Ivyline, I realized my grades were going up. I was really encouraged. I never seen my grade increase this much in my whole life. This may sound like an exagerration but this is an experience that I went through personally. Gerry`s 0-10 methods helped me find answers easier than before. Math raised my grades extremely higher than my old SAT grade. Reading also helped me think more critically to other passages and encouraged me to memorize words in order to raise my grade higher. My essay scores went up really high. I always remained on score 8 but it helped me raise my scores in to a 2 digit number.(^^v) I`m really thankful for the results that they helped me to get and also encouragements. I really think that this is my turning point on my views in academics. Thanks to Ivyline. I gained more confidence on my scores and more variety choices in top quality school.
